A Younger, Sexier Twitter
Twitter made some subtle design changes recently and I couldn't help but comment on them.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all about sleek designs. Except the new bird is kinda weird. But here's my problem: why is Twitter spending money on a redesign when they could put that cash towards greater/smoother functionality or finding a monetization strategy? Or, you know, adding a "ReTweet" button, like other apps have (TweetDeck, Tweetgrid, so on...). That'd be cool. Hello?? Twitter? Are you listening?
What awesome feature would you have spent Twitter's money on?

I hear you about where they spent the money. The things you mention, fighting spam, finding a business model, etc are all more important. I’d also like to see them add group functionality directly to the API which should speed up some of the desktop clients.
The new design doesn’t bother me at all, though in all honesty I’m never at the site. All my tweeting is done via one client or another.

I like your idea about group functionality. That’s a good one. And I like the design I was just kinda like “why in the heck do they keep tweaking the design?” I mean, you know it costs them to do that so… Why??
